View all your bills in Ik Ben or the Ben app.
Your bill will be available online around the 15th of the following month, as I bill you in arrears. This means that this month’s bill will always be available online on the 15th of the following month.
For example, the bill dated 15 March covers the costs you incurred in February.
You can view your bills in Ik Ben or the Ben app. Don't have the app yet? Download it from the Play Store or the App Store.
The amount on your bill is automatically debited on the 23rd of the following month, so you don’t need to do anything.
I always bill you one month later. That way, you only pay for what you’ve actually used. It’s only fair.
You only pay these charges on your first bill. They include:
- Connection fee
- The statutory private copying levy (if you also ordered a phone)
These are the charges for the bundles you’ve chosen, such as:
- Your data bundle
- Your minutes and texts bundle
- Your internet speed
- Your customer benefit, if you signed up for it
- Any discounts

You pay for your bundles based on the number of days you use them. This is called pro rata. For example, if your plan starts halfway through the month, you only pay for half of that month. You’ll still get your full bundles!
Changed your bundle?
If you’ve changed your bundle, you’ll see both your old and new bundles here. You pay for each bundle for the number of days you used it.
The example below shows you what this looks like. The new bundles are underlined in blue and the old bundles in orange. The dates next to them show the period you were charged for each bundle.

These are charges for using more minutes, texts or MBs than your bundle includes. The following charges are also shown here:
Calls within the Netherlands
If you use more minutes than your bundle includes, you’ll see the extra charges here. You may also be charged if you still have minutes left. This usually happens when you call an international number or a service number, such as an 0900 number. You pay these charges to the service number provider. You’ll usually hear the rate at the start of the call.

You can find more information about these charges in the itemised section of your bill, starting on page 2.
Texts and other third-party purchases
This section shows all texts that aren’t included in your bundle. It also shows other purchases you’ve paid for through your Ben bill. For example, you can use your Ben bill to pay for purchases from the Google Play Store. If you’ve done this, it will appear on your bill like this:

You can find more information about these charges in the itemised section of your bill, starting on page 2.
Making and receiving calls abroad and using data abroad
You’ll pay extra if you call an international number from the Netherlands. You may also pay extra if you make or receive calls or use mobile data outside the EU.

You can see which charges you’ve incurred in the itemised section of your bill, starting on page 2. In some cases, you’ll see charges both within and outside your bundle. This is usually because there is an extra charge for making calls or using mobile data in that country.
You can find the rates for the country you visited at www.ben.nl/buitenland.
VAT on your bill
All amounts on your bill include VAT as standard. Do you use your plan for business and want VAT to be shown separately? You can request a separate VAT breakdown.
